TEKS Alignment for Your Science Lesson
The Slides & Notes Bundle is available in 4th Grade and 5th Grade. These resources are tightly aligned to the TEKS, and they offer embedded differentiation for your science lesson. If you teach outside of Texas, don’t fret! These resources can be used individually based on your state’s specific standards.
Teacher-Led Presentations
Each topic listed above comes with a teacher-led presentation that you can use in PDF or Google Slides mode. The presentation is set up with icons that are introduced to the students at the beginning of the lesson. They tell the students to add to their notes, read and discuss, or chat about a question. The slides are rich in pictures and visuals to help the science lesson come to life. Each topic includes student directions, information, photos, discussion questions, and a reflection prompt.
Student Materials
Each topic has a set of note-taking sheets that are differentiated for you to easily meet your students’ individual needs. You can choose from blank, partially filled in, and completely filled in.
The presentations have icons to indicate to you and your students when it’s time to take notes. I designed these materials to be in the form of graphic organizers to help keep students engaged and organized as they learn.
