Halloween is the best time to break out the fun science and STEM activities!
Some teachers do an activity every Friday in October. Others plan a special day or week leading up to Halloween.
No matter how you plan to use your time, I’ve got 7 ideas that teachers and students LOVE. Let’s get started.
1. Creepy Carrots STEM
Students design their own creepy carrots, then teams use criteria to brainstorm and design a fence to surround their carrots.
Afterward, students reflect to explore material properties and evaluate their team’s design according to the given criteria.
