Output Note: I don’t show many examples of output here because at this point of the year, students are making their own decisions for output.
The left side shows a glacier model, a piece of ice that erodes sediments. The right side shows a canyons and deltas model using water and sand. For the glacier model, pack some damp sand down on a tray. Then, move an ice cube slowly across the tray. Record observations. For the canyons and deltas model, set up a tray elevated at one end with a basin to catch sediment and water at the other end. Pour water at the top and observe.
